ADVICE

ALS Industrial Services Ltd are specialists in compressed air dryer maintenance, servicing and repair. We were established in 2016 from Parker Hannifin's Service Centre network, which means our engineers carry factory-level knowledge of Parker's full dryer range built from years of in-house training and field experience. We have also worked on all major makes, so whatever equipment you run, we can support it.

Brands we regularly service include Atlas Copco, Kaeser, BEKO Technologies, CompAir, Ingersoll Rand, Gardner Denver and Donaldson, alongside the full Parker Hannifin range.

Parker Hannifin specialists

Our engineers are factory-trained on Parker Hannifin's complete compressed air dryer range. Common issues we diagnose and resolve include:

Dryer type Typical failure modes
Refrigerant dryers Refrigerant leaks, failed heat exchangers, blocked condensate drains, compressor faults
Desiccant dryers Desiccant attrition, cycling valve wear, purge solenoid failure, control system faults
Membrane dryers Membrane degradation, incorrect purge flow, contamination from upstream oil carryover

Our engineers hold F-gas qualifications for the handling of refrigerants used in refrigerant dryers. Read our guide to F-gas requirements for air dryers and chillers.

We service all three types across a wide range of flow rates and pressure levels, from Parker Hannifin's full range through to Atlas Copco, Kaeser, BEKO Technologies, CompAir and other major manufacturers.

Why dryer maintenance matters

A refrigerant dryer running with a blocked condenser or low refrigerant charge will fail to reach its rated pressure dew point. The same applies to a desiccant dryer with an exhausted bed or a faulty switching valve. In either case, moisture passes through to your downstream processes, pipework corrodes, pneumatic components wear prematurely and product quality is at risk.

ISO 8573-1 sets the air quality classes your system should meet. Moving from Class 4 to Class 2 dew point performance, for example, requires your dryer to be functioning correctly and serviced on schedule. A dryer that has not been maintained is unlikely to be meeting the class it was specified for, regardless of what the original commissioning data showed.

Our maintenance visits include a dew point check, inspection of switching valves and solenoids, condensate drain testing, filter element condition assessment and a written service record. Customers on a service contract also receive priority cover for breakdowns.

How can we help?

Our engineers are specialists in the maintenance, repair and optimisation of compressed air dryers across all major makes and models. Whether the issue is a blocked desiccant bed, a faulty refrigerant circuit, a membrane that needs replacing or a system that has never been properly commissioned, we can assess it and advise on the best course of action.

Call us on 01789 867640 or email enquiries@alsindustrial.co.uk. We respond to all enquiries the same working day.
