ALS Industrial Services Ltd carry out breakdown attendance and repair on compressed air dryers, nitrogen generators and process water chillers. The level of cover and the priority given to your call depends on whether you hold a service contract with us.

Premium contract customers

If you hold a Premium service contract, breakdown and repair cover is included. Call our office on 01789 867640 and we will provide immediate phone and email support to diagnose the problem and, where possible, assist you in getting the unit running again.

Our target is to respond to all breakdown contacts within four hours during normal working hours. If a site visit is required, an engineer will be allocated on a priority basis. Our target is to have an engineer on site within two working days.

Parts and labour for warrantable repairs are included in the Premium contract. Cover applies to equipment that has been operated and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance. Damage, unauthorised modification or use outside the equipment's specified operating conditions would be subject to separate quotation.

Standard and Standard Plus contract customers

Standard and Standard Plus contracts do not include breakdown cover. However, we are always willing to assist contract customers by phone and email at no additional charge. If a site visit is needed to resolve the fault, this is available on request and charged at our standard rates.

If your equipment is critical to your operation and you need greater certainty of response, we would recommend speaking to us about upgrading to a Premium contract.

Non-contract customers

We are able to attend breakdowns and carry out repairs for customers who do not hold a service contract with us. Work is carried out on a best-efforts basis at our standard charge rates, and is subject to engineer availability. Priority is given to customers on service contracts.

If you are a regular customer without a contract in place, it is worth discussing whether a maintenance plan would be appropriate, both for the priority cover it provides and the preventive value of regular servicing.

Repairs

Whether the fault is identified during a routine service visit or as the result of a breakdown call, our engineers will diagnose the problem and advise on the best course of action. Where a repair is required, we will provide a written quotation before proceeding unless instructed otherwise. All repair work carries a 12-month parts and labour warranty.

We carry a range of common spare parts for the equipment we service most frequently. For less common items, lead times from the manufacturer can be two to four weeks, and we will advise you of this as soon as we are aware.

Our engineers are factory-trained and hold current CCNSG Safety Passports. RAMS are available on request. Work is normally carried out within our standard hours of 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Out-of-hours attendance can be arranged in advance, which may be subject to additional charges.
